We've decided to give the daughter and son-in-law a large Big Green Egg. Looking for a good local dealer in the Spartanburg, SC area that will take good care of them. We're in a different county, but want to buy local to them. Any recommendations are appreciated.

Thanks @Dyal_SC, I appreciate that. Don't know about your area, but in Greenville, it seems like every Tom, ****, and Harry claims to be an egg dealer now although they are not in the Mothership's list of approved dealers on the web site. Not sure what's up with that, but we want someone that is established and won't be gone tomorrow.

Actually I forgot he moved locations. I just reached out to him and he said Pool and Spa Connection off of Asheville Hwy can get you one for $798.99, egg only.  Their number is 864-578-7080

Milesofsmiles is one of the nicest forum members around. I didn't realize he was a dealer. I'd do business with him in a heartbeat if I was in the area.

Second that, call Ronnie  (MilesofSmiles).  He works for Pool and Spa Connection Greenville location but they have a Sptg store too.   I trade with the Greenville store--they have been a dealer for a long time.  He was cooking at Greenville store last Saturday--I was going to go by and cook with him but I made it off the Cooks waitlist for Eggtoberfest so I was cooking there instead

Bob Burnett's in Spartanburg.18645855116.  Got a great deal. Assembled and delivered egg to my house.  Done much business with them since for accessories etc and they also are very helpful and supportive in the unlucky circumstance of needing to file a warranty claim on egg or parts.

Just an update. Looks like I will be going with my regular dealer in Greenville County. It's been over 24 hours and I still don't have a quote from Pool and Spa Connection. Guess they don't want a sale? If it takes them over 24 hours to even get a quote out, I'd hate to see what kind of customer service they are capable of (or not). Bob Burnett's was higher than my regular guy even including delivery to Spartanburg County. Live and learn. I do appreciate the input.

It's okay @milesofsmiles. I didn't know your real name and had contacted the Spartanburg location since that is where the daughter lives. I got a quote from them a few minutes ago, but my regular dealer had better pricing anyway and is more than happy to deliver to Spartanburg. I appreciate your chiming in though.

Thanks @milesofsmiles, I understand about the rookies, lol. We wanted someone in Spartanburg, but our regular dealer here has been very good and he did not disappoint. Their egg is scheduled to be delivered on Tuesday next week and they are super excited.

The egg has landed! Daughter and son-in-law are bouncing off the ceiling. So glad we gave it to them earlier instead of waiting on their birthdays in December. I believe burgers on the Grill Grates will be on the menu for tonight.
