Turbo time, Carolina style?

First attempt at a turbo butt. 

Went with with a Carolina rub (it says at least)
went at 325 for 8 hours
chopped and mixed with a Carolina vinegar sauce.  

Topped with a little sweet sauce

paired with beans and potato salad

i would like @JohnInCarolina thoughts as he's the Carolina man

Dont have a main address in NC, but having a place there, and living in GA, pork country is all over..

That looks very very good my friend. Well done. I like a low and slow when I have time and desire, but a turbo butt and that great looking bark, looks like it didn't need much chopping, which I'm not huge on unless it's whole hog all blended together.

Looks mighty fine, I bet it didnt even need the sugar sauce!

Looks good. My suggestion would be to watch temp more for Carolina style. You need to pull the shoulder around 180-185 so there's still enough texture to chop it and not get a kinda mushy texture.
