Today my new insulated hot food gloves arrived. They supposedly are safe to use up to 248º though I doubt I'll ever try using them that high. Week after next I'll be egging and pulling 8 butts so they will get initiated! BTW when the subject of these came up there was question about size which they only come in one size. Mine slip on and off just fine...but hey, from Amazon for $11 if I couldn't use them I know I could give them away to somebody.

I bought the same ones a few weeks back.  Used them once so far.  I wasn't a big fan tbh.  Pork was sliding out of my hands constantly when I was trying to pull.

I'm always amazed at the different things we buy to accomplish the same job.  I use this:

I have similar ones to these and found them great for handling hot meat.   You know... like pulling pork butts and lifting large hunks of meat off the grill. They are rather slick though when covered with grease.

i  have had these for a couple of years.  definitely take some use getting used to as they become slick.  they are my go to for pulling meat though
