Lodge Cast Iron Double Dutch 5Q fits in Minimax woo

I didnt get a chance to take a picture but will be taking picts in the future.   The fry pan fits on grill rack no prob, the Dutch oven without lid fry pan fits on grill rack but cant use lid.  When i remove platesetter and put the woo in, the whole thing sits in nicely.  It sits low and so wont have a ton of room for fuel but with this thing i dont think a ton of fuel will be needed.   I am looking forward to some minimax low and slow cooks in the wilderness with this setup

Hm I heard you can fit the 5qt in the mm on the grate? This is false? Thanks

If i remember correctly i could squeeze in my Dutch oven sitting on the platesetter without temp gauge hitting the lid of the dutch oven or the dome hitting the lid.

@bgeaddict.  Thats the same thing i found. Remove dome thermo and DO sans lid squeezes in there on top of reg ular grate on top of fire ring and platesetter.   There when i set woo on top of firerim with smaller dia ring underneath, 5 q Lodge Double Dutch fits in there.  Without a problem.  Ill get aome picts and post em here maybe later today.  Have a lost of honey dos so ill be tied up a bit

Ok in midst of a pre monsoon dust storm today i went out and took picts.  Lotsa wind and dust, no rain. But here are picts of minimax with lodge DO double dutch and the cgs woo.  Cant wait to try this setup out up in the mountains.  Maybe even some snow campouts this year with a rich beef chili or beef burgundy made possible by minimax and the lodge 5 qt double dutch !

I might invert the woo, set thr DO lid below on main grate and reverse sear filet mignons on it after slow roasting them up ttop. t.   I dont know if thatll work yet as injust thought of it....
