Beer Brats & Fixins, Apple Strudel Dessert

My awesome wife (of German heritage) said "We should have some brats tonight". I said "Brilliant". So we got into a German kinda theme.
Cooked the brats in Warsteiner and browned on the XL. Sautéed onions, skillet taters with onion, kraut and red cabbage.
Made apple strudel for dessert.

Pepperidge farm store bought pastry, rolled out to enlarge. 3 Granny Smiths, peeled, cored and sliced mixed with 1 cup of dark brown sugar, 1 cup of golden raisins and 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon. Mixture was put down the center of the pastry dough and then fold the dough over to enclose the filling. Securely pinch the seam and ends. Rotated so seam side down and scored as shown. Brush with egg-milk mixture (1 egg-2T milk). Sprinkled with turbinado sugar. Cooked on a parchment lined sheet pan raised-indirect at 400 for 35'. Served with vanilla bean ice cream.
