    Low oxygen can make you do stupid stuff. This is as stupid and hazardous as it gets. Unknown snow, at any elevation,  is just asking to be in an avalanche. I think it is one thing to put your life at risk, quite another to ask others to risk their lives to rescue or recover you because of your stupid choices.
    chalking this one up to low oxygen, even though it is under 14,700 ft elev.
