Post blizzard cooking.

I guess it call comes down to priorities when shoveling. Yesterday afternoon.  Egg by the door.

In the evening I cleared it.

Made some fajitas No cooking pic because it was cold and still snowing a bit.

We wanted dessert an hour after dinner, but I checked the egg and it looked like it was out.  Had to improvise.  The room smelled glorious.

This morning after getting up at 4:30, shoveling and coming to temp - ribs are on @7:00 sharp. Should taste good when coming in from playing outside and clearing the 385' driveway.  Can not wait to see what the plow left me.

Dwayne, do you get a lot of drifting?  Luckily I do not, but my parents do.  Your location, I would think would be conducive to it.

Yep, lots of drifting. Paid some neighbor kids to clear my driveway and sidewalks. I just finished the deck. I'll get out later and take more pictures.

Here's my deck before and after.

Ha ha...  In summer, I bet you wish it was winter when it is 60 with a wind chill of 60.

Awesome work. Not sure which I would prefer, smelling ribs while shoveling or picking up dog poop like I was today. Guess the smell of the ribs helps cover the smell of dog $hit

385' driveway?  Holy crap!  That's an insane amount of work.  Hope you had a front end loader.

Not at all, I grew up near Erie PA and know what your dealing with. I enjoy summer and can always jump in the pool when the heat is on! Sometimes I think I'm not far enough south...

Hope you all enjoyed your cold snowy cooks, I had a cold one for ya!

Nope - a plow on my garden tractor, which is a wheelhorse. It is about 20% larger than your typical backyard riding mower. As long as I get to it before 8" if wet, or 10" powder, I can push it with the plow angled. I also pull out the snowblower if needed, but try to avoid that. I prefer to sit. This time I needed it, but in conjunction with the plow. I plow to the edges, and then follow up with a single walk down and back with the blower to throw the snow off to the side.  This storm I went out twice. 7A - 11AM and 4-6PM Sat, then this morning for about 2 hrs.

Ah Ha!  I took a loser look.  The railing blasters made the decking look like little squares. I thought those were pavers.  Thought that would be strange to have a half and half.
