Thought I'd show off some chicken thighs and legs I'm very proud of! 275 degrees, indirect, cherry wood smoke, homemade rub, and Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce. I brined the chicken for four hours in brown sugar/salt/H20 prior to smoking. Had 30 guests and got rave reviews.

I agree those look great. I am sure with the brine it took them to the next level. It has been a while since I had classic sticky finger BBQ yardbird.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

It will take you 1.5 to 2 hours. Just get your chicken meat up to 165 degrees and you're good to go! You can probably start the basting process when you hit 160. No way to mess this up on the Egg unless you burn it! Good luck and post pictures of the results.
