Whos pre ordered? Who's got the other one?

SWMBO gave me the green light but I'm feeling out if it's worth the pre order discount or if prices will keep going down. I've never sous vide anything but ready to try.

I have on of the original versions. Works great.
Ended up buying one of the bluetooth models because I like the adjustable clamp and could use it on smaller pots. Yet to use the wireless stuff but like the unit. You might save 20-30 dollars over time if you wait and catch a sale. Then again, I bet the price will be same as with pre order once the unit is released.
    Thank you,

I used the bluetooth on mine this week. I used the program feature to have it all setup and and wait to start until 5:30AM, then ramp up to 131*. That way I could just wake up at 6 and drop the flat iron steak I seasoned with Fajita-ish in for 12 hours. All prep was done the night before and it was ready to go.

BTW, 12 hour SV flat iron steak is yummy.

+1. I bought the bluetooth version, but don't see myself using it. The app seems like a decent resource though, since it will give you times and temps for all kinds of SV cooks.
