Baby backs frozen ... Problem?

Too late, I had the inspiration to smoke a slab of baby back ribs for dinner. I didn't get them out of the freezer until 11:00 a.m. Is there any reason NOT to proceed with my dinner plans even though the ribs are still mostly frozen?

Run them under some cold water and turbo 350 indirect for 2-3 hours. Bones down, spritz every 30 minutes or so and add the sauce the last 30-45 minutes,

No problem at all. I did the cold water thing for a bit then on they went.
A few hours later and they were ready to come off.

Cooking meat from frozen works just fine, especially fatty cuts like ribs, butts, etc.They/Them
