Going Caveman
Wife and dog are out of town, just the egg, whiskey, and myself tonight. Going to try my steaks caveman style, wish me luck!

Love the German breeds, how'd the steaks come out?

They turned out great! I had one sirloin and one sizzler. I left them on for two minutes each side. The sizzler was very good! The sirloin could have been on 2.5-3 minutes a side instead of 2.

@grege345, its an 83 Chevy P/U. My Dad and I did a complete frame up restoration on it between 04-06.
Last summer I put on a moon visor and finally finished up my tailgate. In the summer of 2012 I put another 2" of lift on it. It has a total of 9" when 35" tires.

Most eggcellent right there-I plan caveman around the SWMBO road trips. Unfortunately those are getting fewer and fewer. Good news-my oldest son inquired about tossing steaks on the charcoal. So there is a light at the end of my tunnel-fantastic way to cook steaks.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.
