Honey Bourbon Glaze, and Lemon/Pepper wings!

Well now that the bad news post is up, i'll have to add the good news post to even it out!

this will probably be my last cook for awhile, as I found myself a nice cracked base mid-cook

    I would love to see the recipes for both if you don't mind sharing.  


    Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

    sorry about the weird stretched pictures - not sure what happened, i tried (in the prior post) to add them via iPhone.  Strange indeed.....

    Either way, yes - please click on them folks, they will fix themselves.

    The Lemon Pepper (Lighter color/Top rack) were simple as can be, Salt, Pepper, and a "Lemon Pepper Seasoning" I've got at home.

    The Bourbon Honey Glazed Wings (darker/bottom rack):
    For the glaze:
    2/3 cup Bourbon (Bullit),
    1/3 cup honey, and
    1/3(total guess - sugar was hard as a rock, couldn't really "meaure"
    and a quick dash of Chili Powder

    Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil.  Boil for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.

    The wings were dusted with some (totally unmeasured) Salt, Pepper, Onion Powder, Paprika, and Ground Sage.

    The wings were left in the egg around 225/250, with Hickory Smoke for about an hour, at which time i turned them, and applied a first coat of glaze.  After that, I opened them, and turned them/added more glaze roughtly every 15 minutes for another hour.
