Recently, a girl-friend of my wife and her hubby were on a trip that took them through Kansas City.
She brought us back a bottle of BBQ sauce labeled "Gates Original Classic" sauce.
Terrific! A wonderful tangy-sweet tomato flavor.
Of course, it's not for sale here on the Left Coast, but I have found their web site and can order it.
Anyone else tried this sauce?

I may give it a try. -
Good point @GregW.
Online, it's a phone-in order only for single bottles (not some sort of set).
They don't have the nuts to give their price!
I'll have to call them to find out; might make Amazon look good.
Thanks!John in the Willamette Valley of Oregon -

I will try them. -
Amazon's Prime prices for many products are simply insane - they bake the shipping into the price and for heavy items, it just becomes absurd. Check out laundry detergent prices. $20 for detergent that's $5 at Walmart. Two Large Eggs, 6 gal Cajun Fryer, and a MiniMax in Charlotte, NC - My New Table

Thanks a lot for all the posts on on-line buying!
Also, I appreciate the recipe.
I will probably try cooking my own!John in the Willamette Valley of Oregon -
No problem, @jaydub58. When in doubt, Google it out.
