Today was just one of those perfect days. I suppose we needed it after my wife was laid off a couple days ago. The weather was beautiful and we spent the entire day outside. We made some pineapple gems as an appetizer then attempted our first wok cook. After seeing @theyolksonyou fit a 16" wok on the mini max I had to give it a try. The best part was getting my wife involved in the cook. I think it's pretty hot when my wife helps out on the egg. The stir fry was great the only miss was the rice that was a little undercooked. I'm looking forward to more wok cooks.

Definitely looks and sounds like a perfect day. Great cook. Sorry to hear the news about your wife's job. Hopefully it's just a temporary setback.
Can an you go into more depth for pineapple gems? Sauced, seasoning, times, and temps? They look delicious.
Are you using the woo with stone? I just got my MM and haven't decided on a indirect setup yet.
One last question. What the ideal size of wok for the MM?Steven

@stemc33 @EggObsessed 's Pineapple Gem recipe can be found here: http://itsmyrub.com/bacon-wrapped-pineapple-gems/
I made a couple substitutions and made some with canned pineapple chunks and I used Captain Rodney's tequila Lime Pepper Glaze in-lieu of the Tabasco Jelly.
I'm using the Woo with stone and it's a great system. The drip pan came in handy on this cook as well. I love that you can easily spin the grate on the Woo ring.
I bought the 16" Town Food Service Wok from Amazon. It fits in a LBGE and works perfectly on the MM (with dome open ) when you set it on the Woo ring.

Try the pineapple gems with 3 part honey, one part sriracha and 1/2 part bourbon. Sauce last 10 min. Candy!

Also, glad to see the wok worked out. Haven't actually woked in it on the mm.
