Hanging a leg of lamb?

Has anyone ever done a leg of lamb vertically in a LBGE?  If I put a spider with a stone and then the drip pan, there would be enough room without the bone sticking out of the vent.  

Just a crazy idea at this point, would there be any benefit of doing this?  Anyone ever tried something like this?

    I have never done it on my BGE. However I have done a couple on my Vault and PBC with stellar results. I love to hang meat in my Vault. I know it isn't necessary but I really enjoy it.
