During heavy cook days, I go in and out of the house about 20-30 times.  There are usually a couple flies that break in to our house and there is nothing that my wife hates more about my BBQ obsession.

With that being said, I'm ready for battle this cooking season!   =)

This thing is bada$$!!

Is that the new one? I've been waiting for it to come out so I can wear out the carpenter bees.

It's 2.0, which they claim has more power and uses less salt.

I wonder if you could put a rub in it and season your grub.  =)

I don't know there is some kind of nekkid secret society around wasps I haven't figured out yet.

I have an electronic tennis racket bug killer. Works great on flies, wasps, carpenter bees, mud daubers, the pesky lovebugs and many more. I think mine packs 15K-20K volts depending on the battery strength (3 C batt). I have it with me by the egg. Snap, Crackle & Pop. Pissed off wasps buzz diving at me get schooled.

I have the first version. It doesn't make too much of a mess. Kill the bug, wipe the bug up and the salt. It beats having the bug fly around inside the house all day.

Yes - it's not much use for killing flies inside unless you can shoot it inside.  It uses about a pinch each time.

Like the caption, uses less salt....ammo costs always a consideration, even when you can buy at Costco for <$3 for 25 pounds...

I have the first generation and salt bounced off the pesky box elder bugs I have around here.  I'll wait & see before buying this time.

I think it is the whole thing about my son being able to kill something with it and we keep telling him to not point his Nerf guns at my face, that it will hurt you.  Her family are kind of against most things that have to do with guns, but have excepted the Nerf guns.  I on the other hand love the idea and want one.  I also see my kid using it on the dog when we aren't looking.

    Yeah...that makes sense.

@Ladeback69 families that eschew guns are statistically less likely to be gun victims.  So that's not a bad thing.
