Chip on the inside of Lid

I just found this today after a high heat cook last night. It looks like there is a chip on the inside of the lid near the top. Would this be a warrantee thing?

    Looks to me that it was a piece of carbon build up that broke off during the high heat. Maybe a clean burn.
