...and did some camping / hiking. We got there late yesterday due to some nasty weather and just left before tonight's ice storm. We took the smaller of the hikes -- Carrick Trail. But it was gorgeous nonetheless. You'll notice some icicles in some of the pix. Also picked up some Orange wood and Peach wood from the new Cabelas in Geeenville. I could go bankrupt in that store. Here are some pix:
And so as to not to get too OT, here are some Mini cooks. Baked Potato Soup, Peach smoked bbq chicken lollipops and this morning's onion sausage. I tried taking pix of some other stuff that was cooked, but my phone kept going dead from the cold weather.
And the obligatory Sleepytime Tea at the campfire. Boiled the water in a camping cup over the fire.

Looks like a great time! You are brave to do it in this cold weather. I would need to combine 3-4 fingers of 120 proof bourbon with the tea to warm me up a bit.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Thx guys! The wife and I had a lotta fun. Table Rock is a great area for those of you who have never been. We're gonna go back for the longer trails with better views once we have more time and once the weather is better.
The Mini is an awesome camping grill. By far my most used egg. Easily portable and very versatile. I may add one of those propane electric griddles to the camping arsenal though. It would be convenient for cooking sides while the main dish is on the mini. -
Sounds like a great time. We are planning a trip there once the camper is finished.Slumming it in Aiken, SC.

Thx guys... @bweekes , thanks for the reminder about those. They weren't too shabby for a $9 slab of beef ribs. Need to pick more of those up from Publix. My work partner's FIL actually owns a cow farm nearby and he brought in some of the meatiest looking beef ribs I've ever seen one day at lunch. Texas sized. I have begged him to ask his FIL to sell some to me, but he hadn't come through yet. :(
