Super Bowl Brisket - Might as well at least enjoy the food

Don't give a rat's As5 about who wins game so I might as well at least have some good eats. 16lb before, 14lb after trim. Rubbed with DP Cow Lick. 250 for a while then bump it up later to finish around game time. Hickory for smoke. Had to tuck it under a little before I could shut the lid. Another method to get the over-sized brisket to initially fit is to drape over a brick til shrinkage takes over.  FWIW-

It's a fact. We were smoked that day. I still have no respect for them because they cheat, but it had no impact on that game.

Peyton's only superbowl victory came after the Colts beat the Pats in the AFC championship while pumping fake crowd noise through the PA system at the RCA dome, everyone tries to bend the rules...

Finished product. Not the best I ever did. It was slightly overdone. Possibly adult beverage related. But it was still pretty darn good.

As for the game, it was a good game. Tom Brady is one that as much as I want to despise him, I have to give him credit. He played one hell of a game and absolutely has to be in the argument of best QB ever.
