These may be the best app so far except they are more like a desert. I cut the pepper in half/canoe, cut a dark chocolate piece of dove candy in half and put at each end with the cherry in the middle and wrapped with a 1/2 piece of stretched bacon and cooked indirect at 350. WOW they were good. The rest of the meal was roasted squash and a bone in Ribeye. My wife loved them, my daughter hates jalapenos and loved these. Kudos to the inventor of these!!!!

I am also making them for Super Bowl with a 10 pound Pork Butt, I am going to do them a little different next time, I am going to grate the Chocolate and fill the pepper and use 2 cherries and a whole piece of regular cut bacon. I failed to mention I sprinkled with Pineapple head. You will love them.

We are intrigued with these and will most likely try them - question though...has anyone tried using a strawberry or half a strawberry instead of a cherry with the chocolate?

I do them with dark chocolate and raspberries.  During mango season (late June thru August) my favorite is DC w/mango and fresh coconut.

Man try anything...peanut butter, toffee, whatever. I've tried cookie dough.

Sorry! I live in Michigan and it was freezing rain out side during the cook and it slipped my mind.

Have you stumbled on anything as good as using the cherry? That combo is awesome. Thanks for coming up with these.
