Try mixing in a dash of red pepper flakes and garlic once the oil gets hot just before you throw in the zuke noodles. Really good

Next time when you oil the ol handle ,switch hands and see what happens.

Just make sure you finish sand to 320grit any higher and your finish might not bond. Hate making a handle and oiling it and then getting a splinter in the palm of your hand
