New Egger... Looking for some forum favorites...

Hey everybody, I've had my Lg BGE for about a month and have really enjoyed it.  I've done some steaks, pork chops, pork tenderloin and BB ribs and haven't had a bad meal yet.  

I'm looking for some homerun recipes to add to my arsenal and try out. I'm open to all types of food, I don't descriminate!

Give this a try: Pork loin coated in olive oil and then rolled in a packet of onion soup mix.  Be sure to not overcook it - pull it at about 140.  Leftovers make for killer sandwiches.

Here's a link to an Egger who used to post a lot. The recipes are all very good, and well described. I suspect you will find many meals you would like to try.

How about some desserts.  Apple Pie baked inside an Apple, or Griffin's Pineapple upside down cake are my favorites.

Stuff anything (chops, loins, burgers, chicken breasts, ballotine (sp?) chicken, meatloaf...with your favorite toppings.

Don't laugh too hard but I have done a quiche several times and it turns out great. The smoky flavor makes it so much nicer that what comes from an oven. Raised indirect at 400° for 30 minutes. Best of luck!
