stemc33, I'm not entirely new to outdoor cooking, but I've never really done any more than grilling. No smoking or any slow cooks. I'm looking forward to learning though. I know the brisket is ambitious, but my brother has done a few on an electric smoker, so we're hoping we'll get it half edible. I'm a lot more confident with wings, chicken, turkey, steaks. I pretty much know how to cook those, but the slower cooks will be a new adventure.lousubcap, I don't doubt I've just cut into my work time with much play. I'm looking forward to it.Thanks again everyone. I'm going to eat dinner and then go assemble this monster.Powder Springs, GA

Welcome! You don't HAVE to but, I would take a pic of the s/n located in the creamy white dome. You'll likely never see it this clear again. Probably will never need the s/n but, just in case.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

I remember getting our egg several years ago. We initially worried if we were doing the right thing. That was one of the best investments we ever made. We have enjoyed taking some of our cooking out of the kitchen and cooking in the egg instead. We call it eggsperimenting.
