Found a new SBGE that still in a box but it's being sold by a private individual. Can I still register it for a warranty?
If not, what would be a good price for this without a warranty? Are small BGE's subject to cracking like i see on the larger sizes?

I'd try registering it on the interwebs. New in the box, sure, why not.

If I had a company and stood by my products, I'd let my unused previously sold or given away at raffles and the like products be resold or let them be registered within a date range. Even if that required an inspection by a dealer to make sure it wasn't a pre-broken product.
