Deep fried tequila shots

While not a true Egg cook, these would be great while waiting for the turkey to cook. Buy an Angel Food cake and cut into cubes. Soak in Tequila (or your liqour of choice). Heat canola oil in a CI pan and fry until golden brown. Sprinkle with powered sugar and serve. Haven't tried them yet, but they are on next Thursday's menu. Interesting. I would think the alcohol would cook out, but there's no mention of it in the link. Hmmmmm....
