After seeing all the posts of other folks cooking spots, it inspired me to build one of my own for some of my smokers. The past several weeks I have been working some insane hours and odd shifts. But that all ended yesterday. I spent today doing the dirt work for what will become my permanent cooking spot in the near future. Hope that it turns out as nice as some of the ones that I have seen on here. Here is the dirt work in progress, and future home of my large BGE, Unit #1 and Unit #7.

Looks like you have a plan in mind. Are you going to pour a slab or lay pavers? I'm hoping to do something here myself soon.They/Them

I'm going to bite the bullet and pour a slab. Basically I'm going to extend the porch 12 feet and widened it 4 feet and enclose it all. Hope it works out.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.
