Somewhat OT: new sausage stuffer

I was 3/4 of the way through a batch of meat sticks when my $100 stuffer blew up. Didn't really blow up just stripped the gears.
I knew it wouldn't last forever but I didn't want to get in too deep without knowing if I would like making my own sausages etc. I love it.
I looked at Lem but I have no place to buy locally. I also looked at cabelas stuffers. The US site had them on sale. I went to my local Canadian Cabelas and low and behold they were on sale here too. They weren't on sale online just in store. So I bought one. Just smoking up the batch of sticks I just made and I will give it a run soon.

I will admit that I'm only a small batch sausage maker but I use the grinder and stuffer attachments on my Kitchen Aid mixer.

@hondabbq - do u know where I can find pink curing salt in Canada? BTW Congrats on the new stuffer. I'd like to try my 1st home bacon & sausage soon.Barrie,Ont.,Canada.

I think @Littlesteven knows where to get some in your neck of the woods. I use MTQ for bacon. I also use hi mountain blends for sticks. I just adjust with my own additions.
