For the US market, that is a crazy asking price - but then again, nothing wrong with asking. Who was it said "Suckers, there is one born every minute"? (Circus guy?)

Funny you should post this one, yesterday I saw a small BGE on our Craigslist for $500. Listing was at least 2 weeks old. I contacted and offered $300, subject to inspection - noted the listing is gone today. Either someone paid the price or the seller gave up. Given the seller probably paid close to $600 here in Canuckistan, I can understand for a nearly new egg wanting to sell for $500 - the value is in access to the warranty, not directly in the product. The value of a used egg in pristine condition is around 50% of retail.

The weed in Maryland is pretty good. I don't see them as much anymore, but there were recurring posts from the Baltimore page that had a small and a medium in the $6-700 range. New/never used, "won in raffle", that sort of thing.
