Hasty-bake is a very good charcoal that I use a lot and is highly rated on Naked Whiz's site. I picked up 5 bags at the Hasty-Bake store here in Tulsa and 5 bags of OO at a Harps store last week. I think I'm good on lump until Spring.

I just went back and re-read the Whiz's review on Hasty-Bake and it says their lump is manufactured by Ozark Oak.

I hope you have more than 10 bags to make it until Spring. If by chance these 10 bags are enough to last until Spring means you are not planning to egg nearly enough.

I just saw this yesterday and ordered 5 bags.  I have read that this is the same product as the Ozark Oak.  I hope that it is in stock soon and can be shipped.  Can't wait to try it.

I was wondering how that would last you til spring. Do yall have harps in Tulsa or were you on a trip to the promise land of NW Ark?

They closed the Harps here in Tulsa a few weeks ago. I went to the Harps in Grove, OK last week. Harps just opened a new store in Inola, so that's handy too. I'm originally from NWA and have family there so it's pretty easy to buy the OO for me.

There aren't a lot of Harp's here in central arkansas. There's the one in Benton/Bryant thats close to me and one in conway. Nice stores. Their meat is usually really good and unless Henapple has passed through they have plenty of OO at 5.49 a bag.
