So last weekend I let my egg get nuclear for a self cleaning cycle. This evening, I fired it up for some grilled salmon (which was mighty tasty, but I need to focus) The problem was, my lid seemed a little out of place. What kind of adjustments should I consider after a cleaning cycle?

Actually more explanation AND pictures will help the forum help you...so the ball is back in your court!Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.

Well, I can do more explanation, but pictures I doubt will help much. But if needed, I can get them tomorrow. Seems when I close the lid, it's shifted forward a bit, so it's not perfectly aligned.

And you're right, pics might help. The difference is pretty subtle, maybe a centimeter or two. These might be able to show what I'm talking about.

To adjust your bite I find this helpful and hopefully you will too.

Adjusting the bite, that's a perfect description of my problem. My egg has an under bite. I think this vid is going to help fix my problem. Thanks @NPHuskerFL.

Mine has a bite, I've adjusted but it just comes back. Only thing it affects is the look so I now just ignore it.Seattle, WA
