How to post pics to the forum from your computer or mobile device

Click Attach a File then click Chose File

Double-click desired file

Hover over over your image, click Insert Image, then click Delete

Insert Image will insert your photo into the body of your post.  This has a couple benefits:  1. You can describe what the photo is, which is ideal for replaying your cook for us.  2.  We don't have to click on your thumbnail to see your photo.  Easier and one less click for everyone.  #2 is why i'm doing this thread as a lot of peeps only post thumbnails.  Slightly annoying.   

Clicking Delete after inserting your photo will avoid you from having photos in your cook description and duplicate thumbnails at the bottom of your post.  It is also less to load on the page, which helps if you have a picture heavy thread.  

My next three posts will be the right way, then i'll post two examples of how not to do it.

Clicked Insert Image but I didn't click Delete.  This will leave all of your thumbnails at the bottom of your post.

When I click attach file, it then says choose existing file and goes to my camera roll. Then if you click one it puts it as a thumbnail?

After selecting your photo from your Camera Roll, it will put a thumbnail at the bottom of your thread.  You have to tap the image, then click Insert Image, then Delete.

Good post. But @cazzy‌ you don't have to click on the thumbnails if they annoy you. You can just pass them up. Just kidding. I just thought it was funny because you told @Fred19Flintstone‌ to "move past if your not interested." Earlier today. ) all in all, very good info. Sometimes Vanilla won't let me open the thumbnails on my phone and then I have to scroll to the bottom to open the full site so I can zoom in on the thumbnail. I also get frustrated.

Well I couldnt make the thumbnail delete. I tapped pic and tap delete but it wouldnt do anything?

I knew were you going with it right when you posted it.  A tad different, but still funny none the less.  :P

Yeah, it can get annoying as Vanilla definitely wets the bed from time to time.

Yes.  Just click Insert Image, then Delete.  I click delete immediately after inserting the pic.

I cant get the delete button to delete. Should the thumbnail just disappear when u click delete? Im doing this on ifone.

Yes. The thumbnail deletes on my mac and android.

Well my ifone 5 just sucks. Everything is working fine til I try and delete. Then it does nothing. Sorry. Maybe I can find somebody smarter than me (should be simple) to show me. My 6 year old can

@Cazzy I've just been kidding. @Biggreenpharmacist‌ if you hit post after inserting the pics into your post, just go back and delete them immediately after you post and the thumbnails will delete.

Ok. Did it but had to post it, then edit the post and go back and delete thumbnail. Pain in the butt. But at least cazzy will no longer be annoyed. Thanks guys!
