Lg BGE raised grid option; anyone using the Keg grid set?

Really only need 3 bolts and size smaller grate.  I used wing nuts to adjust it up and down.  About $25 - $30.00.

I use a Large Grill Dome extender that I picked up for approximately $25. Works Great ...

I'll throw the Keg grate in the large when I get home and snap a couple pics. I've never used the Keg but the grate and extra grid seem to be good quality.

+1 for the grill dome extender.  I got it for pizza and other similar set ups where I have something very heavy (eg, baking stone / steel or large CI dutch oven) on the raised grid.

+1 @Dave in Florida‌ even using SS you'll be in the $35-$50 range depending of course on where you buy the supplies.

A raised grid is something you'll get a LOT use from. I use mine for raised direct and raised indirect to gain the extra space. For some reason I got booted so this ended up being a separate post from my above post.

Prices must have went up. When I did mine 3 years ago I paid $8.00 for the grate and about $20 for the bolts.  Still beats the price of  the adjustable rig my son got me for Christmas, but I'll never tell him that.  IMHO, the bolt setup works just as well.
