First Homemade Pizza Cook

mcmacmcmac Posts: 493
Last Sunday was my first attempt at making homemade dough and pizza cook. While I can honestly say that I don't think the dough process went as planned (the rise process was slow and needed a boost) the finished product turned out great!
Both my wife and son were amazed at how much better the crust tasted than your average mass produced pizza.
I have to agree. However, what I think can be approved is the density of the dough. I felt it was a little dense if that makes sense.
I made three pies and I think my son ate two of them the next day while we were at work

Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.

    johnmitchell,

Give a try one of these days... they are very good. Plus you get to learn a new trick or two to put in your BBQ toolbox. I'm glad I jumped in and cant wait to continuing improving the process and results. Fun stuff, this Bar-b-que.
