Brisket flat injection?

Im on my way to the store to get a flat. Never done just a flat before should it be injected? if so what would be a good choice?

    Try the search function as I know there are some who inject (as mentioned above) and get eggcellent results.  Or, run naked this trip and change it up the next time.  FWIW-
    Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

    Well got to the store and they looked at me like i was an alien when i asked if they had brisket flats I'll just go to sams next time i guess 
    Anyway picked up a couple of St Louis style spares for about 8 bucks apiece so i have them going now
