gloss

So my father in law built me a rather awesome table this past Christmas. He did a coat of stain but I really want more gloss. More of a lacquer finish. What can I get. I believe he said he used oak wood.

Gloss Spar Varnish - 3 coats minimum and you'll be set for a long time. Oak doesn't weather real well so that is the reason you need the strength of varnish vs. lacquer.
