Yesterday I put 12 racks of ribs on my xl and had no room to clip my temp probe so I took out the factory thermometer and put an old probe in and clipped the digiq to that. Was great for about an hour so I ran some errands. When I came back I checked the ribs and my probe had fallen on top of the cold ribs and that ramped the digiq to 410. Checked with my thermapen. was able to save all the racks but lost one. Too mad to take pics

    Sorry that happend. I used mine for the first time and once I noticed the controller being funny after I closed it, and it was the clip detached from the grid....glad I caught it but see how this can happen.
