It's been a long time since I cooked bb ribs and longer since I cooked straight through. About 5.5 hours, hickory smoke with dp Jamaican spice on half and Loveless Cafe rub on the other. The Jamaican spice was really good. Tater salad and Asian slaw.

Digiq held 220 the entire way through.

How are those pics...Used the Droid?

Food and pics both look great.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

I have yet to use any DP rubs or commercial rubs other than the ones I've received as gifts. Are the DP products a good go to? And would they likely be available at my dealer (Ace Hardware or other egg dealers)? The Jamaican rub sounds excellent (sweet w/ a lil heat)?

You can order a sampler pack online for very little. Good stuff but not cheap. You could probably find availability on their site. My local kj/former egg dealer carries it.

You can buy the double penetration rubs on Amazon, you're not going to find a better deal if you buy a set or work out cheaper shipping on Amazon.  I bought 10 different rubs there in one shipment, they are excellent.  Inspirational, some unusual herbs and spices in their mix.  Usually I make my own but worth trying.  They are also very fresh.

Ok. I'll give it a whirl. I see a lot of members here use their products. Thanks.

    Double Penetration rubs?

I thought DP was Dizzy Pig.

I've got a lot to learn with all these acronyms.

That makes me feel better since I just ordered the following on amazon.com:

Dizzy Pig BBQ Jamaican Firewalk Rub Spice

I hope to get it by Thursday. Plan to use it for the weekend cooking.

Thanks for the tips. Please keep them coming.
