Pizza stone question on AR

I'm going to buy my brother in law a pizza stone for his birthday- he just got a large bge with an adjustable rig. I'm assuming a good method would be use stone that came with AR as heat defuser and then stone on top of highest level. What size stone would be best? Looks like top grid is 16.5" so was thinking a 14" or so? Anyone have this setup that can measure theirs or make a recommendation? Thanks

I use the stock BGE grid on top of the A/R with a 14" stone with the oval stone on the bottom of the A/R.
Not to get technical, but according to chemistry alcohol is a solution...
