Wanted to do something different with some Italian sausages. Threw some peppers and onions in the CI skillet and on the egg they went. Grilled up some Italian sausages while the peppers were finishing. While all of that was going on, I had some grits cooking on the stove.
Added 5 cut up sausages, cheddar cheese, and some milk to the grits. Poured it all into an oiled baking pan topped with more cheese and bread crumbs on top. On the egg they went at 400 for 30 more minutes. Almost done. Will post results later.

I got the idea from the BGE cookbook but didn't have the fancy ingredients it calls for. No heavy cream or stone ground grits. These babies were quick grits. It didn't call for peppers and onions, but they just go with sausages.Mark Annville, PA

Best way to cook... Do it all the time, start with something nice and neat and end up way off the pagecortguitarman said:I got the idea from the BGE cookbook but didn't have the fancy ingredients it calls for.
