He was so laid back and chill. All the peeps in the restaurant didn't even acknowledge him either. Prolly had no clue there were two Pitmasters visiting aaron.

    My Franklin Barbecue Lunch!     :D

    image

I got up mid grub and thanked Aaron for buying my lunch. Told him I really wanted to pay though, but I appreciate him buying my lunch again. He said "PAY?", looked up and did a really awkward evil laugh and said "we're not having any of this pay stuff from you".

Yep.  That's what he's used since he took over and they became La Barbecue.  Micklethwait Craft Meats also uses IBP Prime CAB.  Franklin Barbecue is using Creekstone Farms Natural Black Angus.

No wonder I can't find prime or even choice anywhere. Texans are hoarding them all. It's all about the meat.

@yzzi-Patience...It was strongly suggested to me by SWMBO to go with her to Costco (recognized right answer when told more than twice...), an eggsperience I could do without.  That written-I headed to the meat department and found some labeled prime briskets-picked one up.  An unusual sighting in these parts.  You just never know!
