If anybody is interested the Military Channel is showing the Canadian assault on Juno on D-Day. These old boys are hilarious, typical mild mannered Canucks. It's been on Canadian TV forever but it's funny and so so sad at the same time. Bunch of hosers eh?

Free on Youtube.  Another war, same Canadians.  I thought it was a good movie, and you won't have dry eyes at the end.

Yes sir! Unfortunately in the second world war and Korea we sent our guys out with Canadian made guns that were way heavy and jammed on the second shot mostly. My Dad went to Korea at seventeen and whoever was in charge at the time thought Korea was a tropical country and they sent our boys with tunics. We have a horrible history in supporting our troops. They bought your recycled greens and sent the first guys to Afghanistan in jungle camo.
