Super Bowl Fatties

I saw something similar to this a while ago and thought it would be a perfect contribution to our Super Bowl potluck.  Hot Italian sausage, stuffed with cream cheese, grated cheddar and Jalapenos, wrapped in a bacon weave.  Oh yeah, and stuffed with fried bacon as well, because my body is an amusement park, not a temple.

Bonus points for travelling well and easy to reheat with no loss in quality (just heated in the oven while wrapped in tin foil).  I had intended to crisp under the broiler but the oven at my buddies place was in high demand.

    Soo stolen!  :D

I've had "bacon explosions" before, but have yet to try one myself.  Someday...

Looks like you nailed them!  Nice work!

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

  • If you don't eat them very often you'll be okay. Like anything else you need to eat things in moderation.

@GaryLange -   Moderation is alright- As long as you get enough of it.

If you don't have leftovers you didn't make enough food!

Soon be time to try these again.  Wonder what I can do to take it up a notch.  Won't be happy until it triggers meat hallucinations!
