Deli Turkey

Couldn't find a boneless breast at the store so I ended up getting a bone in one and boning it and tying it myself.
Went indirect at 350 dome with cherry smoke and coated the outside with Dizzy Dust. Let it cool then refrigerated overnight and just sliced it this morning. I don't have a deli slicer so I just used my electric knife and it did ok.
Quite tasty...I'll be doing more of these!!

Looks great! Get a slicer. It is well worth it. We don't buy lunchmeat anymore. This is the only way to go.

Yeah, this was a test run to try to convince the wife it it is worth it. Wish me luck...

The first turkey breast I did for my wife sealed the deal. She has been on healthy and natural foods bender for several months now so the idea of no additives or preservatives sold her instantly. You will have that slicer by the end of the week.

Suggestions on slicers? I wanted to do some roast beef that way. Do they make reasonably sized ones for the kitchen? The chicken looks great!

I have the chef choice 610 and a few others on the forum have the 615 with a little bigger motor. I love mine and use it quit often. Easy clean up and light enough for me to lift.Every day is a bonus day and every meal is a banquet in Winter Springs, Fl !
