clean burn...

Doing my first clean burn. Wow, this little dude is now a blowtorch!

Leftover rockwood, with @stlcharcoal hi que grate, temps went nuts fast. Removed my dome thermo.

Aaaaand I've fried my gasket. Smoke is now coming from everywhere. Hopefully it's ok, just running hot.

When we sell Rockwood and hi temp fire grates, you can better believe we stock replacement gaskets.

Got it open, with a putty knife, hammer and pull saw. The old gasket was crystallized, along the entire length. My phone decided to take pictures upside down.
