New large Egg for Christmas/Birthday! Here is my table

Got the idea off of kamadoguru forum for my table and made a few modifications.  Egg will go in this week and the first cook this weekend (rain or shine!).

  • Thanks for the kind words everyone.  First cook will probably be something relatively easy like a Boston butt.  I used PT pine and Olympic Maximum stain.

    Very nice table.  I have one similar but not as pretty, since I'm a terrible carpenter.  I love having the granite counter to set hot stuff on.

    My woodworking friends have told me to use cypress. I understand it is supposed to be the best for outdoor projects like this.....but just how much better and how much difference I could ever tell , I may never know !!!!!!

    I can't wait to get started and seeing my thoughts come to pass .
