Brisket temp drop.

My briskie was around 180 so I cut it in half, point and flat, and wrapped the flat in foil took it back outside to finish up to 200 and the temp is now 168.

    In the stall. Not uncommon at all. Just keep going- it will start to rise again.
  • You let all the heat out when you cut the point off. Just think if you ripped the roof off your house off on a cold day. The heat would fly out in minutes. It will come back but it could take a while.
