Pulled Buffalo Chicken - SOUP

We're still refrigerator less until delivery this weekend. So we have had are fair share of soup lately. I had buffalo chicken soup from some canned company a few days ago that wasn't too bad. I knew homemade would be much better so I went searching online for one. I found one that came close to what I imagined.
I grilled the chicken and jalapeños on the mini and fired up the large in the meantime. Shredded the chicken once off the mini and diced the jalapeños. Tossed everything else together in the pot and placed in the large. Smoked with some apple.
Very much satisfied with the turnout! Switched the cheddar for smoked sharp cheddar which gave it a very good flavoring. With windchills of -35+ beer and soup sounded like the perfect complement!
Took a few pics along the way:

Changes I made:
Switched out celery for a couple jalapeños. I grilled them until soft.
Instead of the 3 cups water, I used 3 cups chicken stock.
I used a small brick (8oz I think) of smoked sharp cheddar instead of regular cheddar. (Highly recommend it. Great flavor)
I used a 1/2 C. of wings sauce instead of 1/4 C.
I pulled the chicken instead of cubed
2 Large chicken breasts

Nice. Would you consider leaving the celery in with the jalapeño to keep their flavor?

I'd say go for it if you like celery. Other recipes called for peeled carrots. Next time I think I'll try some crumbled blue cheese with it."The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

I just made a buffalo chicken soup Monday. Similar recipe, but major difference was I boiled a head of cauliflower and then pureed it for the "stock".Large and Small BGECentral, IL

@saluki2007
Do you get much of a cauliflower taste? In other Buffalo Chicken Soup recipes I know they peel carrots and use it in it."The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

@WeberWho? None. I don't even like the taste of raw cauliflower.Large and Small BGECentral, IL
