How big of a turkey can I fit on a small egg? The BGE site says 12 lbs but curious about real life use.
The plan is PS with a drip pan and then grate on that. Just set the turkey there.
Sound like it will work? I plan to use a modified version of mad max method.

@fanoffanboys I cooked a 11 LB. turkey on my MBGE this week, and the tip of the wings were scratching the dome when I closed it. I used my PS w/ a drip pan and had the grid raised about an inch. It was a tight fit, and in my medium I don't think I would go any bigger than 13-14 lbs. I think you could probably squeeze a 11-12 pounder into your small without a problem. Good Luck buddy!
