Plano Outlaw Gathering Countdown!

The Plano Outlaw Gathering is less than a month away (Nov. 1-2) and we’re down to the wire on making final arrangements.  If you plan on attending, please register ASAP at http://www.planooutlaweggfest.com/

If you missed the original announcements, you can view them here: http://www.greeneggers.com/index.php?option=com_simpleboard&func=view&id=1322404&catid=1#

Or here

To recap, this is a non-dealer sponsored event, so please plan to bring everything you need to cook (i.e., your egg(s), lump, firestarters, eggcessories, utensils, food, coolers stocked with your favorite beverages (adult or not).  Should you forget your beverages, a full-service cash bar will be available.  If you are unable to bring your egg, loaners will be available to share.  Consider our backyard as your backyard for the day!

Seasoned eggers have already signed up along with a few newbies from both forums.  No need to plan on making several hundred servings because this event is limited to Eggers cooking for other Eggers and is not open to the general public (albeit with a few exceptions).  At present, we anticipate about 50 Eggers, so this will be the perfect opportunity to spend one-on-one quality time with the “old timers” to learn from the best of the best as well as to meet new eggers.

This is the last Texas fest/gathering of the year.  Don’t miss out on this eggceptional opportunity!  If you’ve never eggperienced an eggfest or gathering before, this is one not to be missed!

P.S.  This is a dog and kid friendly fest!  Plus, if you’re lucky, you might be able to get a sip of the fest-famous Apple Pie Moonshine straight from the communal Mason jar!  Hope to see you there!

Sounds like a blast and would love to make it, but opening weekend of deer season in Texas is kind of a long lasting ritual.
