Friday Night Burgers and Corn

Options

Ended up with everyone out of town or gone tonight, so decided good time for a burger. Had a home ground beef one in the freezer, and decided to go cast iron--really liking the sear. Cooked an ear of corn first--Fred had a new recipe up this week for buffalo corn--sounded good. So grilled the corn, then brushed it with half/half melted butter and Franks Hot Sauce, and topped with crumbled blue cheese--it was very good. Buger was then salted, basted with tiger sauce, and onto the fire to cook in some bacon grease:

Then, topped it with some cheese, onions, tomatoes, and homemade pickled jalapenos: image
